Malcolm Grayson BSc (Hons) MRICS

Malcolm has been a commercial surveyor in Leicestershire since 1990, where he gained sound grounding in agency work, plus extensive understanding of the industrial and office markets. He previously worked for Lambert Smith Hampton, in 1999 gaining promotion, which made him the firm’s then youngest director.

Having joined Andrew Ashwell in 2005 he became a Partner the following year. Malcolm is actively involved in all aspects of the business, fully involved with transactional work across industrial, office, land, investment, disposal and acquisition sectors, as well as property management and professional services.

He has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since May 1995 and is a qualified Registered Valuer, approved by RICS to undertake formal Red Book Valuation work.


Malcolm likes to keep fit with cycling, outdoor pursuits, table tennis, skiing and questionably, darts! His limited sporting achievements include cycling 300 kilometres around Lake Vattern in Sweden in a single event in 2009 and he represented England under 16's at Ice Hockey.
