New partner and team member for expanding Andrew and Ashwell

Leading Leicester commercial property specialist Andrew and Ashwell has appointed a new company partner, with effect from December 1.

Mike Allwood, (37) brings 15 years’ experience to his new role and joins fellow managing partners Jon Archer and Malcolm Grayson in the running of one of Leicestershire’s longest-established commercial property consultancies.

Born and brought up in Leicestershire, Mike has worked for several other firms in the county, including Henry Butcher, Bache Treharne and Lambert Smith Hampton, where he worked for six years, before following Malcolm Grayson to Andrew and Ashwell 18 months ago.

Mike’s experience covers all aspects of commercial property, with specialisms both in the licensed and leisure industry and corporate recovery and restructuring.

He is only the 16th partner appointed in the long history of Andrew and Ashwell, which was established over 140 years ago in Leicester.

Trainee surveyor Chris Park is also celebrating success with a permanent appointment at Andrew and Ashwell.

A geography graduate of Loughborough University, Chris (23) has recently been awarded an MA in Property Management and Development at Nottingham Trent University. Chris has been with Andrew and Ashwell since October 2008 and now begins final RICS-accredited training.
