High quality industrial space ready to let
26th March 2009
A speculative industrial and warehousing scheme in South Wigston is nearing completion, offering high quality space to small and medium-sized local businesses.
The scheme, by local developer Hammond Grange, on a two-acre site at Elizabeth Business Park, Tigers Road, comprises four, modern industrial and warehousing units from around 2,300 sq ft, to over 9,000 sq ft.
Located off Saffron Lane, Elizabeth Park is only half a mile from Leicester’s Outer Ring Road, giving fast access to M1/M69 motorway junction 21.
Each building is self-contained, with an open production area. Toilet facilities, three-phase electricity and gas supply with blower heater, lighting and electrically operated loading door come as standard. There is a large yard suitable for deliveries, with ample car parking for employees and visitors.
Hammond Grange Managing Director, Terry Lander, started work on Elizabeth Business Park last September, despite the economic downturn.
“I have been in the construction business for 30 years and have weathered several recessions. This is a high quality development and the right product will always do well. I am confident we will be able to let all the units by autumn,” he said.
Malcolm Grayson, Managing Partner at Andrew and Ashwell, confirmed the attraction of the development and its location.
“This is a well-built site, fitted to latest, high specifications and close to
excellent road links, that will provide a sound base for a growing business.”
