Finance firm’s new branch aims to boost local client base

Leicestershire commercial property specialist Andrew and Ashwell has completed the letting of prestigious retail premises to financial services company Edward Jones.

The High Street premises, in the heart of the village, fronting the new Epworth Court residential development, will be launched by Loughborough Mayor, Stephen Campbell, at a celebration open day on Friday March 20.

Clients and visitors can find out what the new branch has to offer and meet stockbroker and financial adviser Liz Tuccy, who is the first woman to head up an Edward Jones office in Leicestershire.

Edward Jones, a subsidiary of a long-established American firm, was recently voted number two in the mid-size company category of the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for 2009 list and the highest-ranking financial services firm. Only two others made the top 100.

A traditional, double-fronted shop premises, with generous light and space, gives the branch a visitor–friendly feel. Clients can walk in and discuss their financial requirements in a comfortable, ambient setting.

Leicestershire-born Liz, who lives in the area, has added many local clients to the Edward Jones portfolio since she joined the firm two years ago.

“Building long-term relationships is key to serving the needs of our clients and location in the communities where they live and work is the best way to get to know them,” said Liz.

“Our new Quorn branch will provide an open, friendly atmosphere for clients to pop in for sound financial advice built on trust and understanding”.

Jon Archer, Managing Partner in Andrew and Ashwell, added: “The high standard of accommodation, coupled with an attractive location in the village centre, will make the new branch of Edward Jones a popular focus that should work for all.”
