Andrew & Ashwell finds Solutions for Leicester's oldest 'teenagers'!
9th June 2008
A 10-year-old Leicester firm has just relocated for the first time following extensive growth and has praised the commercial property agent who helped it take its first big step towards expansion.
Working Solutions, an award-winning provider of interactive kiosk and digital signage services now based at Scudamore Road, Leicester, had been based at Ross Walk in the town's Belgrave area ever since the company was formed in 1997.
“We were looking to move out because we had grown so much, and we needed somewhere where we could showcase our services to clients,” said Neil Farr, Managing Director. “When we were initially looking for a property before Christmas, we were drawn to Andrew and Ashwell's website because its functionality seemed so much better than other agencies, so we were able to find the kind of property we were after by keying in quite simple search terms.”
The company finally settled on Piper House at the far end of Scudamore Road, where it has just put up new signage. Andrew and Ashwell Partner Malcolm Grayson, was there to welcome the Working Solutions team to their new base.
“When we decided to move to our new base at Scudamore Road, we were like teenagers leaving the house for the first time!” said Neil. “We didn't know what to expect and relied heavily on our advisors. Andrew and Ashwell helped us through the sales process and, because this was the first time we'd moved, their assistance was very much appreciated.”
Malcolm Grayson said he'd enjoyed working with Neil and his team and was delighted to have helped them relocate to a new headquarters which is double the size of their previous base.
“The team now occupy over 4,000 sq ft purpose-built offices, and even take the option of working outside in its enclosed garden area when the weather permits! Their previous base was around 1,900 sq ft, so they now have a much improved working and display area. Working Solutions are a market-leading software provider for the digital signage and self-service kiosk industry and I'm delighted to have been able to play a part in their continuing expansion by aiding their relocation,” said Malcolm.
Working Solutions, which currently employs 12 people, is now looking to move the business further forward with the creation of new job opportunities and an ever expanding client rosta. Current clients include i-vu, Natwest, BBC Asian Network, Nestle, British Land, London Luton Airport, Little Tikes and YMCA. Andrew and Ashwell has helped a number of other firms find bigger headquarters in the area in recent years. These have included the Lavendon Group, which provides access equipment for the building trade, moving to 16,000 sq ft offices at Central Park, Lutterworth, and MCR, which provides professional point-of-sale e-systems integration for the hospitality, catering and leisure markets, moving to 7,500 sq ft at Vantage Park, Hamilton.
