Meridian Park move signals expansion for Oliveti group

Relocation to prime office space at Meridian Business Park will boost expansion for a rapidly growing Leicestershire construction firm.

The Oliveti Group has moved into ground floor premises at Stonecroft House, Ervington Court and created two new roles within the company, having recently clinched the sale through leading East Midlands commercial property specialist Andrew and Ashwell.

Previously used as a training centre, this modern office comprises nearly 2,500 sq ft of space, with kitchen facilities and ample parking. Close proximity to M1 and M69 motorway links, as well as the main Narborough Road route into Leicester city centre, are a bonus both for visitors and staff.

Formerly based in Countesthorpe, the Oliveti Group started as a family-run business and has now been established nearly 25 years, spanning all sectors of the construction industry. Growing demand has enabled the group to double in size in recent years. On-going and long-term contracts with both the City and County councils and the refurbishment of 130 flats in Wigston, alongside recently completed projects, including the conversion of the old County Arms pub at Glen Parva into retirement apartments, saw a 40% rise in turnover last year.

Gian Oliveti had been looking for new premises for four years when Andrew and Ashwell’s Tom Meynell suggested viewing Stonecroft House.

“It had become apparent that larger, better-designed offices were needed and we were looking for a that would be more convenient for visitors and staff. We found this in Stonecroft House,” said Gian.

“We have refurbished the whole of the ground floor to create larger, working areas and individual offices, a comfortable foyer and boardroom, providing a much better place to meet clients.”

Since moving, in the firm has recruited a new buyer and project manager, with potential for further recruitment.

“Without the new, bigger, better laid out space we would never have been able to bring them in, which would have hindered our plans for expansion and ultimately held us back.  Now we can look to the future and our new office helps start this exciting new chapter.”

Tom Meynell said Stonecroft House provides an excellent launchpad for growth.

“There is good demand for prime, modern office space and Meridian Park is a particularly strong location for tenants and owner-occupiers. Having found the search a real challenge, the Oliveti Group has at last secured perfect premises for expansion and we wish them well.”
