New lettings reflect high demand for prime premises in Hinckley

High demand for prime premises in Hinckley

New lettings recently agreed at a prime Hinckley business park reflect buoyant demand for high quality commercial premises in the area.

Leading Leicestershire commercial property specialist Andrew + Ashwell has negotiated the letting of two neighbouring warehouse units at Hinckley Fields Industrial estate.

Located around one mile north of Hinckley town centre, Hinckley Fields Industrial Estate is occupied by a mix of trade counters, hybrid units and traditional industrial and office users. Current occupiers include TNT, Mott McDonald, Brantano and Croner Consulting.

Detached warehouse and two-storey office premises with a large service yard and car park, at 19 Wheatfield Way of 4,689 sq ft have been let to Eden Tyre Sales. Following a refit, the premises is now open for business.

Completion is also imminent on the letting of 18 Maizefield to construction machine and service provider Wacker Neuson Ltd.

With its glass-fronted entrance and spiral staircase, the impressive corner premises become vacant at the end of December 2017, following which the 6,638 sq ft of internal space underwent full refurbishment to attract a high profile tenant. Attractive accommodation includes two-storey offices/showroom space, plus meeting rooms, with open-plan warehousing at the rear.

Good road communications link Normandy Way on the A47 to the A5 and on to Junction 2 of the M69, four miles southeast.

Malcolm Grayson, A+A Director, said: “This is an attractive business estate, with fast road links and high quality, modern accommodation – three top priorities for expanding businesses.

“The high level of demand there has been for both properties since they came onto the market reflects these factors and 19 Wheatfield Way was immediately let, with substantial interest and multiple offers. Similarly, 18 Maizefield has continued to attract interest since we first took over its management in the 1990s.

“We wish the new tenants well in their expanding enterprises.”
